Quartzite splicing, how to reduce the visibility of the gap

- Feb 27, 2018-

In the numerous cabinet table materials, artificial stone products can quickly occupy the market table, not only because the sheet thickness uniformity, good gloss, no radiation, can do more random bending, seamless bonding, truly achieve the realm of like nature itself. Because of the lack of hardness, the mesa area is being replaced by quartz stone. However, the hardness of quartzite is too high for seamless splicing. So far, it has become a bottleneck that the industry and quartzite manufacturers cannot break through.

The stitching gap in the table not only affects the beauty of the whole, but also is easy to breed bacteria. Because the hardness of the quartz stone plate is second only to the natural diamond, the maximum can reach 7 moth hardness. In addition, the inner particles will collapse, so the edge and the mouth are relatively rough when the material is open, and the natural splice will produce cracks. It is difficult to make seamless stitching more difficult. At present, the so-called seamless splicing will not be the same as the original plate, or we can see a glue line, which is not related to the price of quartzite, and it is not the high price.

To achieve seamless, the first response to the seam grinding technology in the process of installation personnel is a big test, (but now has CNC equipment can be completed) after grinding using original manufacturers the same color glue paste, paste should begin with the table on the color plate so as to avoid the use of color, paper tape in two block pasted on the edge of the interface. In order to avoid unnecessary trouble when the glue is cleaned with the plane. After the completion of the preparation, the uniform coating of glue, the use of F clamp for about 15 minutes, stitching as far as possible to avoid grinding.
